As part of the UIT Festival, Karlova Play Day is a brand-new community event in Tartu, bringing together playful spirits of all ages – from Karlova and beyond.

While play is often associated with children, we believe it's just as vital for adults. Play energizes the body and mind, strengthens social bonds, refreshes everyday routines, sparks spontaneous encounters, and ignites creativity in city life.

Throughout the day, local volunteers will host a variety of games across Karlova – from trivia and memory games to board games, card games, hopscotch, and even urban orienteering. Activities will pop up in courtyards, on sidewalks, in parks, and at local sports grounds.
