When: AUGUST 16, 20:30-22:00
Starting point: Tartu Town Hall Square
Free admission
For the 79th time, Tour d’ÖÖ takes to the streets – starting from a secret location, winding along a hidden route through the city, and culminating at the UIT Festival's afterparty in the Samelin Boot Factory, where the night ends in dance.
This year, UIT Festival is all about playful urban space, and our group ride will reflect that spirit. We invite riders to join the tour as their nocturnal alter egos – the version of you that comes alive after dark. Channel your nighttime self, bring them on a bike, and ride with us into the night and the party.
Tour d’ÖÖ is a mass bike ride celebrating cycling culture. It began in 2011 as part of the first-ever Tallinn Bicycle Week – an independent initiative to promote urban cycling in the capital – and has since brought thousands of cyclists together across Estonia.
Please take these safety measures into account:
- Cycling takes place on your own responsibility
- Please don't take small children on their own bikes with you
- If you have been drinking alcohol, don't sit on the saddle
- Look ahead, follow the herdsmen in yellow jackets, consider with the other riders and enjoy the ride!
- Lights on and grip the bar!
The ride is organized by the UIT festival team, the Tartu Cyclists’ Society, Tallinn Bicycle Week, and the Tour d’ÖÖ crew.
